The Fort Collins Skin Clinic has a
professional staff with cutting edge technology to keep you healthy and
beautiful. With more than 50 years combined experience in caring for
patients, we can help you with preventative health consultations, as
well as special treatments and diagnostic care.
Our Doctors:
Brad R. Baack,
M.D.
Dr. Brad R. Baack graduated Summa cum
Laude from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque with a bachelor
of science in Chemistry. He earned his medical degree from the
University of New Mexico School of Medicine. Dr. Baack completed his
internship in the Department of Internal Medicine and his residency
training in the Department of Dermatology, both at the University of
New Mexico.
Dr. Baack was an instructor in the Department of Dermatology at the
University of New Mexico Hospital for a year before going into private
practice at the Northern Arizona Dermatology Center in Flagstaff, AZ.
After nine years in practice in Flagstaff, Dr. Baack and his family
moved to Colorado where he has been in practice at the Fort Collins
Skin Clinic since July of 2001. He also currently teaches residents in
the Family Practice program at Poudre Valley Hospital.

C. Paul Sayers, M.D.
Dr. C. Paul
Sayers graduated from the University of Colorado with a bachelor of
arts in History. He earned his medical degree from the University of
Colorado School of Medicine. Dr. Sayers completed his internship at
Wilford Hall, United States Air Force Hospital in San Antonio, TX. He
did his residency training in Dermatology at the University of
Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN.
Dr. Sayers practiced medicine for the United States Air Force for
three years before starting his private practice in Fort Collins,
where he has been for 32 years. He has been a clinical instructor for
the Department of Dermatology at the University of Colorado and
continues to teach the Family Practice residents at Poudre Valley
Hospital in Fort Collins where he earned the Volunteer Teacher of the
Year Award.

Andy Kalajian, M.D.
Dr.
Andy Kalajian grew up on the east coast of Florida in the town of
Melbourne Beach where he enjoyed playing soccer as well as fishing
and surfing. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science with highest
honors in Chemical Engineering from the University of Florida in
Gainesville, FL, and is an avid Gator fan. He earned his medical
degree and was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society at
the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL where he subsequently
completed two years of Internal Medicine residency. He then moved to
Kentucky where he completed his Dermatology residency under the
direction of Dr. Jeffrey P. Callen at the University of Louisville,
serving as Chief Resident in Dermatology in his third year.
Following completion of his Dermatology residency, Dr. Kalajian
completed subspecialty training in a Mohs Micrographic Surgery
fellowship at the University of Louisville under the direction of
Dr. Michael McCall, who himself trained with Dr. Mohs. Dr. Kalajian
has special interests and training in the detection, diagnosis, and
treatment of skin cancers. He has authored numerous manuscripts in
peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Kalajian was an Assistant Clinical
Professor in the Division of Dermatology at the University of
Louisville for a year and a half prior to he and his family’s move
to Northern Colorado.
Dr. Kalajian is married to Andrea and is excited to be living and
building a life in Fort Collins. He and Andrea have recently
welcomed their beautiful daughter Dylan Avery into their lives. He
has many hobbies including skiing/snowboarding, fishing, golfing,
woodworking, watching Gator Football, and enjoying the Colorado
outdoors.

James Benzmiller, Jr., M.D.
Dr.
James Benzmiller, Jr. graduated from St. John's University in
Collegeville, MN with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. He
earned his medical school degree from Creighton University School of
Medicine in Omaha, NE. Dr. Benzmiller completed externships at the
University of Wisconsin in Madison and had intermittent training
with Fred Mohs in the Mohs' surgery clinic with Stephen Snow, M.D..
Dr. Benzmiller completed his transitional year internship at the
Marshfield Clinic in Wisconsin and his Dermatology residency in the
Department of Dermatology at the University of New Mexico. Dr.
Benzmiller then completed additional fellowship training in
Dermatopathology at Allegheny University/Drexel University in
Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Benzmiller
has been volunteer faculty for the family practice residency
training programs at the University of Minnesota--Wauseca Family
Practice program (associate clinical professor) and the University
of Wisconsin--Fox Valley Family Practice program. Dr. Benzmiller
practiced in Mankato,MN for six years in a multi-specialty clinic
practicing both dermatology and dermatopathology. He was department
chair over Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Radiology, and
Otorhinolaryngology for two years. He then moved to Manitowoc, WI
and practiced in a private-practice dermatology group that grew to
be the largest in the state of Wisconsin for four years. He
practiced both dermatology and dermatopathology but grew the
position into a full-time dermatopathology position with a
state-of-the-art ,24 hour turn-around regional laboratory. He was
director and creator of the dermatopathology lab.
Dr. Benzmiller
keeps his licenses active in the states of Minnesota, Wisconsin, and
Colorado. He currently is on staff at the Poudre Valley Hospital.
Dr. Benzmiller is
married to Tracie Lea and has three children (two girls and one
son). He is a Canon City, Colorado native and has dreamed of his
return to Colorado. He enjoys hunting, fly-fishing, skiing,
camping, road biking, choral music, and NFL football. He is excited
and honored to join such a respected and well-established clinic.

Tiffany Serell, P.A.-C.
Tiffany A.
Serell, MS, PA-C graduated from Westmont College in Santa Barbara,
CA with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She earned a Master of
Medical Health Science from Midwestern University, College of
Allied Health Professionals in Glendale, AZ.
Tiffany has worked as a physician assistant for Coast Dermatology
and Laser Surgery Center in Laguna Beach, CA for two years before
moving to Seattle, WA where she worked under Dr. Bernard S. Goffe
for three years. She has been with the Fort Collins Skin Clinic
since September 2005.

Aaron T.
McGrew, P.A.-C.
Aaron T.
McGrew, P.A.-C. is a Fort Collins native and graduate of Fort
Collins High School. Aaron also attended Colorado State University,
where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in biological science
with an emphasis in microbiology in 2002. Aaron was a participant in
the University Honors program and took additional coursework in
anatomy, physiology, and genetics.
Aaron then went on to the University of Colorado Health Sciences
Center in Denver where he received his Bachelor of Medical Science
in Physician Assistant Studies, pediatric emphasis, in 2006.
At present Aaron is working on his Master of Science at the
University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center, CHA/PA
program.
Aaron is an athlete and musician. He participates with his family in
local 5k races, and he enjoys the Fort Collins Symphony Orchestra
concerts. As a recent addition to the Fort Collins Skin Clinic,
Aaron is excited to be joining such a well-established and respected
clinic.
